The US President has claimed that he is delaying the attacks on energy plants for another 10 days at the request of the Iranian government.
In a post on Truth Social, he said that he is delaying the planned ‘destruction’ of power plants in Iran until April 6.
He added that talks with Iran are ongoing and are ‘going well.’
The US President has repeatedly insisted that his talks with Iran are ongoing, but Iran has denied this claim.
On the other hand, both Trump’s special representative Steve Witkoff and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq have confirmed that the 15-point US-proposed plan for a ceasefire has been sent to Tehran via Islamabad.
Iran had reacted negatively to the plan yesterday and its state media has set five conditions for a ceasefire.
